Safely Remove Hardware - Necessary or not ?

A BIG >>> NO"
Hello Friends,

I usually exchange data from friends over Mail or through storage mediums like Pen Drives , Hard Disks and SD Cards etc.

I have observed most of the people believe that we should safely remove or eject the disk after exchange of data otherwise data in the device can be lost.

Friends, windows has two removal policies-
1. Quick Removal - Where data is transfered at normal speed and each data is successfully installed. Safely Remove Hardware not required.
2. Better performance - Where data is copied at super fast speed, so some data can be lost. When we click safely remove, windows fixes missed data too. So, if safely remove hardware is not done, then some data can be lost.

By default i.e. unless you have changed the settings, windows has enabled quick removal option where storage devices can be ejected directly without safely remove.

However, if you are concerned about better speed, you can change Removal policy from Computer Management or Device Properties but in that case , safely remove option is must.

Some people also say that device can be damaged if safely hardware is not done. This is totally wrong too.

I discovered this fact before 7-8 years ago and have not used safely remove hardware feature so far and believe me, nothing wrong happened.
