⚫Retailers are having continued growth in health and hygiene category products as well as in food, personal care and home care items, but discretionary categories like beauty & cosmetics, fashion and apparels have been affected adversely during the second wave of the pandemic.
⚫Assocham has demanded from the Govt a 'concentrated and right kind' of relief package for MSME sector, which was most affected by covid-19 pandemic. It suggested that banks should increase working capital limit of MSMEs by 20% but not charge any extra collateral and re-classification of NPAs of MSMEs.
⚫Gold saving funds and gold ETFs saw net inflows of Rs 864 crore in April.
⚫The Rajasthan Govt extended the coronavirus lockdown by 15 days till June 8.

2️⃣ W.e.f. 25.05.2021, Late Fees and Interest @18% p.a. shall be levied.
3️⃣ GST Returns: Government collected INR 107 Crore as GST Late Fee in last Two Years (RTI).
