👉PM to launch India Post Payments Bank on Sept 1 i.e. Today, that seeks to leverage the expansive network of the postal department to ensure financial inclusion for the masses.
👉CBDT proposes changes in Rule 114 of the Income-Tax Rules, 1962, inter alia provides for the manner in which an application for allotment of a PAN shall be made in Form No.49A and Form No.49AA. It is proposed to amend the rules so as to provide that furnishing of Father’s Name shall not be mandatory for a person whose mother is the Single Parent.
👉CBDT Releases 2nd Annual Report of its Advance Pricing Agreement (APA) Programmes. The primary goal of such programmes is to provide certainty to taxpayers in respect of the Transfer Price of the Cross- Border Transactions undertaken by such taxpayers with their group entities.
👉CBDT notifies rule 11UAB for Determination of Fair Market Value for Inventory which has been Converted into, or treated as, Capital Asset.
