👉Coal scam: Special Court frames Additional Charge of Abetment of Bribery against Naveen Jindal in a case pertaining to irregularities in the allocation of a Jharkhand Coal Block

👉3 Mumbai-Based Private Banks and a Payments Bank are being probed for allegedly evading Rs 100 crore of GST and flouting RBI guidelines on Money Transfer. The entities are suspected of evading GST by under-reporting the value of the funds transferred for customers.

👉SEBI cuts Listing Time for Public Issue of Debt Securities to 6 days from 12 days at present, in order to make the Existing Process of Issuance of such Securities Simpler and Cost Effective. Besides this, SEBI has made ASBA mandatory for all the investors for making payment while applying in a public issue of debt securities.

👉Asserting that the fundamentals of many Public Sector Banks (PSBs) have improved in recent months, Rajiv Kumar, Secretary, Department of Financial Services (DFS) said that he expects some of them to come out of the RBI’s Prompt Corrective Action (PCA) framework this fiscal. As on date, as many as 11 out of 21 banks are under the central bank’s PCA framework.
