👉Govt. directs NABARD to implement the long awaited pension scheme for 30,000-Odd Regional Rural Bank (RRB) Retirees, who have won a protracted legal battle demanding parity in pension with Nationalised Bank Employees in April this year. Govt also sent a communication to All Regional Rural Bank Chairmen and Chief Executives of their Sponsor Banks to execute the decision.

👉Govt turns down the RBI’s demand for removing RBI Nominees from the Boards of Public Sector Banks (PSBs) while citing NPA issues and various cases of frauds

👉NCLT Delhi to start E-Filing by end of August. The Registrar has asked all parties to File Soft Copies along with hard copies with effect from August 27, 2018.

👉Parliamentary Panel calls Ex-RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan to appear before it and brief on the issue of mounting NPAs & to seek his advice on tackling NPA problem
