👉CBDT informs that Income Tax Collection stood at Record Rs 10.03 Lakh Crore in 2017-18. It also said that during 2017-18, a record number of 6.92 Crore I-T Returns were filed, which was 1.31 Crore more than 5.61 Crore Returns filed in 2016-17.
👉CBDT defers Reporting of Clause 30C (GAAR) and 44 (GST) of Revised 3CD Report while doing Tax Audit till March 31, 2019.
👉CBDT proposes changes in Form 13, Application for Low/No deduction of TDS. The comments and suggestions are invited & may be sent electronically by 04th September, 2018 at the email address--ts.mapwal@nic.in
👉National Anti-profiteering Authority (NAA) plans to knock on factory gates to enforce GST rate cuts rather than waiting for consumers to complain about businesses cornering tax benefits meant for them.
