👉PNB Fraud: UK confirms Nirav Modi's presence in its territory, CBI moves application for his Extradition through the Home and External Affairs Ministries.

👉CBDT invites Comments on Proposed Amendments to Income Tax Rules, 1962 by 4th September 2018, regarding Form No.13 for filing an application for seeking a certificate under Section 197 and/or under Section 206C (9) of the Income Tax Act, 1961, for no deduction of tax or deduction/collection of tax at lower rate.

👉Kerala Floods: CBIC announces that the Goods Imported by the Charitable Organizations and Red Cross Society for relief of people  would be exempted from IGST and Basic Customs Duty till December 31, 2018 and a notification to this effect is likely to be issued today which will be later placed in the next meeting of the GST Council.

👉GST: CBIC forms Standing Committee for Consumer Welfare Fund under the CGST Rules, 2017

👉In a Major Action, Madhya Pradesh GST Investigation Wing raids Indian headquarters of a Chinese E-Commerce Portal and allegedly detected an evasion of around Rs 15 Crore. Action was taken against Mumbai based Sino India Etail Private Limited linked to Chinese’ E-Commerce Portal Shein.in.

👉Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) probes Jet Airways on suspicion of Siphoning Funds. Mumbai Registrar of Companies (RoC) will inspect Jet’s Books of Accounts.

👉Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) calls for an All India Traders Strike ('Bharat Trade Bandh') against the Walmart-Flipkart deal on September 28.

👉BSE to Delist 17 Companies from Today as trading in their shares has remained suspended for over six months. Further, these delisted companies, their whole time directors, promoters and group firms will be debarred from accessing the securities market for a period of 10 years.
